I learned industry on the factory floor, learned engineering in China, and built businesses that connect the two.
My path started in Rajshahi with a four-year Diploma in Textile Engineering at Rajshahi Haji Abul Hussain Institute of Technology. I studied how fibre becomes yarn, yarn becomes fabric, and how the machines in a mill keep it all running.
My first job was at Texeurop (BD) Ltd. in Gazipur, a composite textile factory that produces finished garments for export. Working there, I saw how much Bangladeshi industry depends on machines, materials and products from abroad, and how hard it is to buy them well.
That pushed me to go to the source. I moved to China and completed a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering at Chongqing Jiaotong University. Alongside the degree I learned the language, the business culture and how Chinese factories actually operate.
In 2020 I founded DE International in Dhaka to make importing from China simple and safe. I later registered Shenzhen Phoenix Rising Technology to work right next to the factories, and launched my own brand, SÜTYEN, which sells in Bangladesh and to American customers on TikTok Shop.
